Happy Taper Week to anyone who’s running a race next weekend! I’m so happy it’s finally here!
Today I didn’t run the six miles I had planned on my training schedule, because I ran nine last night with my two friends.
It was a good run, yet frightening because I was running in the dark on a wooded trail! I felt like I was in a scary movie…
But, because of my “freaking-out-ness” I ran faster and kept a 8 min pace my last two miles.
And after last night, I can say that I won’t be running in the dark again.
Anyway tomorrow is Stretch & Strengthen and an average of 3 miles for the rest of the week!(:
